Overview:
We are seeking a Billing Supervisor to join our growing finance department to manage and supervise the billing analysts to ensure accurate and timely billing processes while providing excellent customer service to our attorneys and clients. Collaborate with the whole billing team to ensure efficient workflow and submission of invoices.
Key Responsibilities Include:
*Oversee and supervise the billing department, including supervising billing staff, assigning work, and ensuring deadlines are met.
*Instruct and adherence to the firm's billing policies.
*Handle any invoice disputes or discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
*Review monthly statistics of billings and identify any concerns to billing manager.
*Work with pricing manger to submit yearly rate increases.
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing regulations and best practices in the legal industry.
*Lead training sessions for billing staff on new billing software or processes
*Determine team responsibilities and schedules.
*Review and approve PTO requests and ensure ample coverage in the billing area.

Our Ideal Candidates Will Have:
Candidates must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Post high school training in accounting or general finance area and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 Suite is required. Supervisory experience, knowledge of Elite 3E and prior work within a law firm finance department setting are a plus.
