Job Description
JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day human resources operations. Focus includes staffing coordination, HRIS support, filing, anniversary/company party coordination, onboarding/offboarding, & offer letter creation.


GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Work Hours: M - F, 1st Shift
  • Location: Saint Paul, MN
  • FLSA Classification: Exempt

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains and audits employee records in the HRIS database and paper files. Processes HR and Payroll changes within the HRIS.
  • Processes the full onboarding and offboarding cycle at all work locations.
  • Provides administrative support such as scheduling drug tests, posting jobs via the ATS, and creating offer letters.
  • Owns the anniversary/company party planning.
  • Processes unemployment claims.
  • Assists with the recruitment and interview process.
  • Assists the HR team with implementing and coordinating performance management.
  • Assists with other HR duties as requested.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

CRITICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in related field strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Effectively manage and communicate information across a network of companies.
  • Partner with managers with a customer service orientation.
  • Professional demeanor and character, proactive and able to take initiative.
  • Prioritize and complete tasks as a team player while delivering results.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and persuade decision makers.
  • Optimize delivery of all services with continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Superb consulting, and critical thinking skills.
