Security Cooperation Analyst

As a Security Cooperation Analyst, you'll bring your subject matter expertise in policy, process, authorities, planning, and execution to bear for the DoD. You will provide management skills and operational oversight for security cooperation and security assistance programs and projects that build allied and partner nation security force capabilities and capacity. You will work in partnership with U.S. interagency and international contributors.

You will support the planning, tracking, and maintenance of authorized programs to Build Partner Capacity (BPC). You will guide program and project-supporting lifecycle assessment, training, equipment, and services to inform the development of future programs and support Army client agility in responding to and reporting project changes.You'll guide the work we do for DoD and the solutions we deliver for security cooperation and security assistance planning.

You Have:

  • 6+ years of experience working with government entities, and DoD security cooperation or security assistance programs
  • Experience with security cooperation planning, execution, and assessment processes mandated by NDAA 2017 and 2022
  • Experience with researching and analyzing the DoD policies and directives to develop and present recommendations to support client requirements
  • Experience with coordinating and leading cross-functional planning teams, working groups, and collaboration meetings with large groups across the Army Security Assistance Enterprise
  • Knowledge of DoD Institutional Capacity Building (ICB) and Assessment, Monitoring, and Evaluation (AM&E) policies, authorities, processes, and procedures
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time through the Indo-Pacific AOR
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with U.S.C. Title 10, *321, *312, *332(b) and *333 databases, including Socium or OHASIS
  • Experience with researching and analyzing legislation and federal regulations, including security cooperation and security assistance topics.
  • Experience with DoD pseudo-FMS/FMS equipment and training databases, including SCIP, DSAMS, or SanWeb
  • Knowledge of formal DoD and US Army staffing processes
  • Ability to speak to senior military and civilian leaders frequently and provide concise, impactful information papers, planning documents, or briefings
  • Ability to be a self-starter, work independently and as part of a team, manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, analyze complex data, and prioritize tasks
  • Possession of excellent oral and written and oral communication skills
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Security Cooperation Basic Certification
  • Completion of DSCU Security Cooperation Management courses or Security Cooperation Management Policy, Programs, and Planning courses

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements foraccess to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
