TITLE: Associate Systems Analyst

POSITION CONCEPT
The Associate Functional Analyst resides in the Business Innovation Solutions - IT and Corporate department within the IT&T organization and develops expertise on all phases of the systems development life-cycle (SDLC). The Associate Functional Analyst supports Functional Analysts and interacts with AMS to ensure efficient service delivery to Enterprise business users. The Associate Functional Analyst assists in translating business requirements into system solutions. Ensure business partner satisfaction through all aspects of service delivery including project work, enhancements, service requests and incidents.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assists in resolving Service Delivery tickets, partnering with the AMS provider to: (20%)
a. Ensure application stability, data integrity, and policy alignment.
b. Convey business context and priority to AMS provider, monitor progress, ensure defined SLAs are met.
c. Monitor application service delivery to meet business needs of functional area.
d. Ensure that the quality and timeliness of resolution for application issues and operational activities are met within service level agreements and within legal business expectation report on operational health to Functional Analyst.
2. Supports defined business processes/functions including legal/compliance patches released by SAP by performing timely testing, and validation. (10%)
3. Contributes to the request and analysis phases of SDLC by assisting with documentation and estimates. Participate in the design, development, and implementation phases of SDLC by producing the prescribed deliverables, under the guidance of a Functional Analyst. (10%)
4. Participates in application development, support, as well as project teams under the direction of their manager, senior team members, or project managers. (10%)
5. Works with business unit analysts/administrators to maintain knowledge of processes/functions relevant to projects and application support assignments, as well as maintains appropriate technical skills to troubleshoot system(s); uses understanding of system setup, interdependencies of data flow and interfaces to conduct root cause analysis and resolve problems. (10%)
6. Coordinate system changes by identifying system requirements, definition, testing, training and implementation. (10%)
7. Establishes regular business partner engagement to understand business environment and needs. (10%)
8. Partners and effectively collaborates with other operational towers within IT (like Infrastructure, Security, and Service Integration) to ensure operational efficiency. (10%)
9. Demonstrates Company values through decisions and actions. Promotes the Company's safety culture to ensure a safe work environment. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. (10%)

QUALIFICATIONS

Education
Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering or related field
Preferred: N/A

Licenses/Certifications

Preferred: ITIL v4 Foundation Certification

Direct Experience
Required: One year of demonstrated IT experience, which can include school internship program.
Preferred: System analysis, software design and development or SAP configuration experience.

Supervisory Experience
N/A

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (KSA)
Required:
* Business examples of IT system analysis, design development, test and support.
* Effective oral and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated experience interfacing effectively and collaborating with internal employees
* Must demonstrate the ability to integrate work across relevant areas, develop the business and services to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks appropriately, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
* Must demonstrate effective decision making, results delivery, team building, and the ability to stay current with relevant technology and innovation.
* Knowledge of the software development process.
* Must demonstrate strong ethics, interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.
Preferred:
* Experience of system solutions in Finance
* Knowledge of SAP solutions, SharePoint, Microsoft Office 365
