Senior National Sales Executive - Non-Commercial Sales

In this role, the Sr. NSE is responsible for leading and overseeing sales strategies and initiatives aimed at non-commercial clients such as Compass, Sodexo, ARAMARK, etc. This role requires a deep understanding of the foodservice industry, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to non-commercial segments, aligned with overall business objectives and market trends.
  • Conduct market analysis and identify opportunities for growth within the non-commercial foodservice sector.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align sales strategies with customer needs and market demands.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the non-commercial foodservice industry.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their unique needs and providing customized solutions and services.
  • Conduct regular meetings and business reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Drive initiatives to increase brand visibility and market penetration in the non-commercial foodservice segment.
  • Work closely with the National Sales Specialist who will drive the GTM plans that the Sr. NSE develops within the broader sales organization.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote products and services and stay on top of industry trends.
  • Develop marketing collateral, presentations, and promotional materials tailored to non-commercial clients to support sales efforts.

Position Requirements

  • 5+ years related experience and/or training including experience selling to national accounts required.
  • Experience within GPO industry
  • Experience with a CRM (SalesForce)
  • History of success across entire sales process including prospecting, qualifying, obtaining commitment, negotiating and account maintenance while managing customer expectations
  • Extensive travel required (50%), including occasional weekends for tradeshows.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with a focus in Business, Sales, or Marketing.
