The Seasonal Ramp Agent position is responsible for supporting peak season operations. Specifically, seasonal agents are accountable for preparing for aircraft arrival and departure; the proper and accurate handling of customer baggage which may include the loading and unloading, operation of ground service equipment, and marshaling in and pushing back aircraft.

This job operates outdoors in all kinds of weather, this includes extreme cold and heat and in all types of precipitation. While working on the ramp this position will be exposed to the extreme noise of aircraft arriving and departing.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands or finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. This position will be required to occasionally push/pull up to 300 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
Seasonal Peak Required Availability & Minimum hours:
MEA week (October- Wednesday through Sunday): 10 hours
Thanksgiving (Sunday before Thanksgiving to Sunday after): 15 hours
Christmas/New Year Holiday (12/15-1/8): 15 hours per week/45 hours for period
Spring Break (2/15-4/8): 15 hours per week/15 hours for period if student or teacher; 60 hours for non-student or teacher employees
Summer (Last week of May to Sep 1) - 15 hours per week/220 hours for period
Must be able to obtain an MSP SIDA badge with a CBP Seal.
