Intermediate District 287 is looking Vocational Teachers like you for FALL 2024!

The Career and Technical Center/Pathways program offers career courses for high school students that are designed to match the level of career readiness by focusing on skill development experiences, career awareness, and decision making that can lead to a college certificate, diploma, or degree.

Position Details:

Provide classroom and lab instruction to a diverse population of students. Career and Technical Center - Eden Prairie, MN 0.33 FTE

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary based on Local 2209 salary schedule

Education & Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma and 5 years of closely related experience OR an associate's degree
• At least three (3) years of work experience in the food service or hospitality industry, with an emphasis on food production and service, is required.

Licensure & Certification Requirements:

• Current teaching license in Career and Technical Education, or another area and eligible and willing to apply for an Out of Field.
• If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2 Teaching License.
• In addition, some occupational clusters require industry certification.
