This position leads and executes strategic direction and oversight in Behavioral Health for utilization management, case management, product design, and compliance, in support of our triple aim focus of improving population health, member experience, and total cost of care.
A Day in the Life:
In collaboration with other business unit partners, establish strategic direction and innovative practices.
Establish benchmarks and key performance indicators to monitor operations of each area within purview.
Mentor and develop people leaders under purview and design engagement strategies for broader hierarchy.
Promote and support development of key partnerships and cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Promote a culture aligned to company values. Perform other duties as assigned.
Nice to Have:
Master's degree or above
Experience in Utilization Management and Case Management
Required Skills & Experience:

Registered Nurse with Psychiatric experience or Behavioral Health Professional that is Clinician licensed for independent practice with one or more of the following licenses with no restrictions:
- Licensed Marriage and Family Practice (LMFT)
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
- Licensed Psychologist (LP)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
7+ years of behavioral healthcare experience.
5+ years of leadership / management experience, including people leadership.
Experience in product design and implementation
Skilled in the use of data and its application to enhance effectiveness
Significant experience in strategy development, execution and implementation.
Broad knowledge of the managed care and health care/insurance industry.
Experience building/leading matrix team structures and/or cross functional initiatives.
Listens and communicates effectively at all levels of an organization.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and influence others.
