The primary responsibility of this position is to provide and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction for assigned customer accounts and projects. Support BLU54 Account Manager and Senior Account Specialist in customer service activities.

Summary

Develop and manage customer relationships and projects related to assigned operating groups:

  • Consistently provide responsive, quality service to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Manage project deliverables from purchase order through project closeout.
  • Manage project orders and associated customer reports.
  • Develop processes and reporting to provide timely order information to customers.
  • Coordinate with the financial team to resolve customer billing issues as necessary.
  • Lead project calls to ensure deliverables are being met.
  • Provide information to Account Managers and Senior Account Specialist for project financial reviews and change order management.
  • Resolve customer issues including returns and defective material.
  • Provide feedback on project financial reviews.
  • Manage customer calls and written correspondence in a professional, timely manner, ensuring follow up on all customer issues.
  • Oracle experience or other ERP system experience preferred.
  • Coach and mentor Associate Account Specialists.
  • All other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Intermediate or above ability in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, Power Point) and the ability to navigate and learn computer systems and software applications.
  • Proven positive and professional attitude and strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to asses and determine the priority of multiple customer needs.
  • Solid skills in the following areas:
  • Problem solving - ability to quickly assess current state and formulate recommendations.
  • Clear and concise written/oral communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, keep organized and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to negotiate with suppliers on pricing and scheduling requirements.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal effectiveness to model and set the tone for exceptional customer relationships.
  • Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback.
  • Strong organization and planning skills.
  • Effectively work with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
  • Open to change based on diverse input and feedback.
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or HS diploma or GED and 6+ years of relevant experience
