Job Description

As a Check In Representative you are a vital point of contact for a patient entering Heatlhpartners Clinic Stillwater locations. This position facilitates the check in process, including greeting, assisting and directing clinic patients/families; collection of co-pays; clerical duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and coordinating waiting room flow; performs related reception duties as assigned. This position is expected to support the mission, goals and objectives of the clinic.

Work Schedule:

  • 1.0 FTE/40 hours per week
  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:45am - 4:15pm
  • Located at Curve Crest clinic - level 2

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/equivalent.
  • Two years in a position interacting with the public using telephones and computer.
  • Must have one of the following:
    • Graduate of a formal training program in medical reception, an equivalent program, or a customer service program;
    • Two years of experience as a medical receptionist; or
    • Two years of experience in a customer service position.
  • One year experience using data look-up an data entry functions on a mainframe of PC based computer system.
  • One year customer service experience either via telephone or in-person within the last five years.
  • Insurance experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize while busy
  • Demonstrated ability to function with multiple priorities and interruptions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in EPIC computer system
