The Office of Student Engagement is seeking a collaborative, student-centered professional to fill the role of Coordinator for Student Involvement and serve as the primary advisor for programs and services associated with the Organization Resource Group (ORG). Programs and services include, but are not limited to, student organization recognition and re-registration, training, and allocation of the Student Activity Fee for Student Organizations. This position is responsible for hiring, training, and supervising approximately 5 student employees. Additionally, this position will serve as a resource to student organization leaders and aid in the development of leadership, risk management, event planning, and other skills necessary to support student organization leaders who compliment the academic mission through educational, social, and recreational experiences that encourage student engagement, sense of belonging, and affiliation with MU.
This full-time professional staff position will report directly to the Assistant Director for Student Engagement within the Division of Student Affairs. Candidates from underrepresented backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday-Friday.
This position may require evening and weekend hours supporting activities and programs within the department. Occasionally division and campus projects may require additional hours outside of your normal schedule.
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

* Have a positive and friendly disposition, possess flexibility, and effective communication skills

Salary Range: $18.50-$26.00 per hour, paid on a bi-weekly basis
