Interstate Power Systems is looking for a Parts Delivery Driver/Shuttle Driver for our Lakeville Minnesota location. Class A CDL Driver's License is required! We are offering highly competitive wages!

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to fill the role of Parts Delivery Driver / Shuttle Driver. The primary duty of this position is to deliver our Power System parts and equipment to our customers promptly and safely. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for providing shuttle services for customer trucks and trailers to and from our location as needed. The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver's license with a Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and exceptional navigational skills. Previous experience in parts delivery or shuttle driving is preferred but not required. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for success in this role. Parts Delivery Driver Job Duties:

  • Use company owned vehicle to transport stored items from shop to customer locations for shipment/delivery.
  • Read production schedule, orders (customer, work, shipping, requisition, etc.) to determine items to be removed, gathered, or distributed.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
  • Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distributes items to workers.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or transports orders to packing station or shipping department.
  • Pick up and drop off customers truck, trailer, or both for repair and/or after completed repair.
  • Documenting records in computer system.

Parts Delivery Driver Position Requirements

  • Must have valid driver's license (Class A CDL is required)
  • Ability to lift to 35 lbs. consistently.
  • Good knowledge of the area, and ability to read maps and follow specific directions.
  • Must be friendly and able to be the face of our company.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Parts Delivery Driver Desired Qualities/Skills

  • Working experience in a customer service, customer focused position
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working experience as a delivery driver
  • Experience using Excel, Word, Outlook, etc., preferred.
