Job Description

MAJOR FUNCTION: Provides customers with comprehensive information to solve their problems or assist them in making sound decisions and achieve customer satisfaction. Handles customer challenges and provides resolution, brings manager's attention when necessary to ensure that proper and best-in-class service is delivered.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management of inbound and outbound phone calls and email correspondence in response to any inquires, questions, or other follow up in a professional and helpful manner.
  • Be an ambassador for the Nilfisk Self Service channel. Seek commercial opportunities, escalating sales / service leads as required.
  • Develop knowledge of key customers, building meaningful relationships and driving trust in key competencies.
  • Leveraging ERP, CRM and online tools, to confirm account number, part number & descriptions
  • Communication to customer on pricing, availability, open orders, and ship dates
  • Ability to issue credits and rebills according to policy and procedure
  • Prioritize projects/responsibilities and other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalency

EXPERIENCE: Entry levels to experienced; Desire a minimum of 2 years inbound/outbound call experience in a customer service or manufacturing environment
