Position Overview:The Director, Oracle Cloud Applications will be responsible for leading an IT organization that implements, supports and enhances Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP applications. The successful candidate will have vast experience and expertise in leading Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementations and support in global deployments. This person will be involved in the design and implementation of new modules and enhancement of existing development components in Oracle environments to support business requirements. The candidate will have a broad understanding of supporting finance, procurement and supply chain business capabilities with Oracle cloud technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Devise and build an optimal delivery organization including functional experts, solution architects, developers, config/customization experts, QA, and maintenance and support.

  • Devise and deploy a robust roll out process aligned to Oracle cloud ERP - including best practices, standards guidelines, tech and process assets

  • Responsible for informing solution architects and business leaders on available Oracle Fusion technology capabilities to be used

  • Responsible for ensuring technical integrity (including non-functional requirements) of solutions adhering to IT standards and policies - including formal review and signoff in conjunction with solution architects

  • Own the hire, training and people development for the Oracle Cloud capabilities in the U.S. and India

  • Responsible for Oracle platform team to deliver roadmap, upgrades, security and 24x7 support of Oracle Fusion products, extensions and integrations.

  • Own accountability for overall roll out of Oracle cloud applications

  • Responsible for creation of non-functional and technical requirements, participating in further definition of functional requirements

  • Responsible for ensuring uptime and integrity of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, integrations and extensions 24x7x365

  • Key role in creating rollout strategy, details out execution plan and owns accountability for the program success

  • Map global stakeholders, establish and run a robust governance

  • Ensure alignment with business architecture of the Financials, EPM, ERP domains, the internal architecture of the solution and enterprise architecture

  • Willingness and ability to travel to Thief River Falls, MN, up to 20% per year

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, management information systems, engineering, or related field

  • Extensive leadership experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP - minimum 10 years overall experience in finance, procurement and supply chain

  • Experience in building green field teams including functional consultants, architects, leads and technical experts including integration, data, engineering practices etc

  • Experience in assessing the technical impact of new modules and capabilities in Oracle Fusion

  • Worked ground up in roles as functional consultants, solution architects and understanding of configurations and extensions

  • Extensive global stakeholders' management with strong communication skills

  • Organizational change management skills

  • People development and ability to drive high employee engagement

  • Ability to motivate and mobilize teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strategy and management consulting experience

  • MBA, or equivalent work experience

  • Experience with the electronic component distribution industry
