About our group:

Our team is responsible for recording Channel and Preamplifier development and Integration for all Seagate products. Our group works with VLSI and 3rd party ASIC vendors for next generation of Channels and Preamps development. We do the test & validation, when the Silicon chip becomes available. We develop and optimize algorithms to maximize for best SNR and performance for variables like Head/Media, temperature, and power supply changes.

About the role - you will:

  • Work with cross functional teams for root cause analysis of any related failures.
  • Work closely with product core team on daily basis
  • Develop optimization algorithm.
  • Write test script for test and validation of the algorithm.
  • Data analysis
  • Publish and present test reports.

About you:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with global teams.
  • Critical thinking skills creating and executing innovative solutions to solve complex problems.
  • Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new of special assignments.

Your experience includes:

  • Python programming
  • Analog and Digital circuit design
  • PHD in electrical engineering

Location:

Colorado's 2021 Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) requires we inform you of the estimated base salary range for this position is: $88,899 to $119,995. Actual salary range is based on fair market value of the role in the geography in which you live based on the requirements of the job and your skills.
