Company Overview
Morey's Seafood International LLC, now owned by Rich Products, specializes in the manufacture, marketing and distribution of restaurant-tasting, high-quality fish and seafood products. Morey's roots date back to 1937 when Ed Morey, a local farmer with a knack for smoking fish, built a manufacturing facility in northern Minnesota. Word of Morey's smoked fish spread rapidly and Morey's Seafood International was born. Since its launch, Morey's has grown to be a leading seafood manufacturer and distributor. Today, Morey's Seafood International manufactures hundreds of products under the Morey's label including Morey's Marinated Salmon and Tilapia, Morey's Smoked Salmon Portions and Morey's Smoked Fish. These products are delivered and distributed to retail and foodservice clientele nationwide. The company also has five distribution locations that deliver a full line of fresh, frozen and prepared fish and seafood. Company headquarters are located in Minneapolis, MN. Morey's state-of-the-art processing facility, located in northern Minnesota, rates far ahead of the competition by way of quality, technology, food safety and product development. Morey's is an active member of the National Fisheries Institute. The vision of the NFI is to be the leading advocate on behalf of the seafood community for expanding safe, responsible, and sustainable supply, increasing acceptance and consumption, and promoting members' success globally. We are proud to have two past NFI presidents on our staff, and an Executive VP currently serving as Chair of NFI's Marketing Committee. Our Purpose: To enhance the experience and increase the consumption of fish and seafood by providing value-added products and services. Our Core Values: We respect the dignity of all.
