Hovland Conservatory is a nonprofit organization providing private piano and violin lessons for beginning through college level students. Over the years, with thousands of students, we have developed a proactive method for teaching music that ensures successful results for every student. Our mission is to bring this proactive method to families through a practical, affordable, and accessible approach.


Founded in 1969 and incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 1993, Hovland Conservatory is one of the fastest growing music schools in the country. As it grows, Hovland Conservatory remains a true family-run organization. As one would expect in any family, each member has developed their own unique skills yet share a common commitment to the success of each and every student thereby ensuring success of the conservatory itself.
