Job Scope:

The Operational Excellence Program continues to mature within Diasorin.  This position will be expected to leverage Problem Solving methodologies (Lean & Six Sigma) to identify and implementing strategic improvement opportunities throughout the site in an effort to improve costs, quality and service to our customers. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Accelerate Results through Leading/ Mentoring Change 
• Leads organizational development through training and mentoring problem-solving tools (Lean fundamental and Six Sigma DMAIC) 
• Drive the execution Operational Excellence multi-year plan 
• Facilitate/ Lead improvement events (Kaizen) 
• Analyze processes, identify waste and improvement opportunity 
• Lead multiple projects with persistence and urgency 
• Leverage financial Data and business metric to drive actions, daily decisions and hopper improvement opportunities 

Other Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Communicate Results from project to all levels of the organization 
• Collaborate with cross functional teams 
• Influencing others (Leaders and associates)  
• Results oriented – drive sustainable gains in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost  
• Self-Directed  

Education, Experience, and Qualifications: 

Basic: 

• Bachelor's degree in Engineer, Chemistry, Life Sciences or Masters preferred
• 5+ years of Experience in Operations with Engineering (or science field) degree 
• Balanced between Hands-on (Tactical) and Big Picture (Strategical) 
• Passion for training/ coaching formally & informally (mentoring) 
• Familiar with navigating Change in FDA Regulated environment 

Preferred:  

• Experience in manufacturing of Biological or Chemical processes 
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Trained
