What You Will Do:

Museum of Ice Cream is looking for a Marketing & Content Creation Specialist to complete a summer internship at our Chicago location. Were looking for high energy, can-do, creative thinkers who specialize in photography, videography, and editing for social media and marketing.

Your Day-to-Day:

Capture and produce content for social media and marketing purposes, with a focus on videography and photography

Edit all captured content for our platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok

Book and manage freelance photographers and videographers for Museum of Ice Creams other locations

Communicate and coordinate with the operations team to execute marketing initiatives

Contribute to development and execution of marketing, social media and PR initiatives for MOIC New York City

Support the team to complete the assigned task by being self-managing the schedule to get it done

Extra Details:

• June 1st - August 22nd (flexible)
• Lighter workload in June, heavier workload in July and August
• Hybrid - Remote and IRL
• Must be able to come into Museum 2 - 3 times per week
• Museum located in downtown Chicago
• $20/hr, 30-40 hours per week

Requirements

• Prior experience in filming, videography and photography
• Knowledge of Adobe and Google Suite
• Comfortable with working with tight deadlines
• Can take direction and changing gears quickly
• Strong organization and communication skills with high attention to detail
• Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively, eager to take on new challenges
• Open minded and always curious to learn and expand beyond your comfort zone
