Summary
Provides technical assistance in the loading, shipping, and/or storage of solid, liquid, hazardous, radioactive, and/or mixed wastes. Specific duties may include, but are not necessarily limited to, handling drums and/or other containers of waste, operating forklifts and/or other mechanical loading/handling equipment, and keeping and tracking related documents to assure compliance.
Education
Position typically requires a high school diploma and four-to-six years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At this level, additional training, certification, and/or education may be expected, including associateA's degrees and graduation from technical institutions.
Per diem is available but the person must live greater than 100 miles of the site.
