Position Summary

Responsibilities include working under the direction of the Public Relations team to help support various components of PR campaigns with a specific focus on North America; manage daily media and trend monitoring, reporting and tracking of global coverage across all solution areas and product lines, support logistics and media relations for industry events, including major conferences and trade shows where necessary; develop corporate documents, including press releases, interview briefing documents and related communications collateral where necessary; keep track of the PR pipeline; manage awards and speaking opportunities by working directly with customers and industry leads to create proposals; ensure policies and best practices are followed.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Manage, measure and monitor media activity for Infor solutions and services
  • Identify and analyze media coverage across print, broadcast and online resources
  • Use social media to monitor for industry trends, report on PR results and identify industry influencers
  • Join, and at times lead, weekly internal calls across all areas of the business and provide support to the team, including managing recaps, updating internal tracking documents and editing/proofreading press materials
  • Support organization's thought leadership efforts, executive positioning and speakers' bureau activities as necessary
  • Write news releases and develop customer and/or partner success stories as necessary
  • Manage, develop and track award submissions company-wide
  • What You Will Need:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Public Relations, in agency or corporate environment
  • 1-3 years of Public Relations experience focused on B2B in the high-tech/software/SaaS sector
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or related field
  • Media monitoring experience
  • Excellent writing, proofreading and communication skills, firm grasp of AP Style
  • Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly adapt to new situations, assignments and deadlines
  • Demonstrated knowledge of media outreach, media landscape, online/social media channels
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks quickly and efficiently
