Design Enablement Engineering Intern

Job Summary:

The Summer Intern will work closely with our packaging layout teams to help maintain and develop design automation tools that improve efficiency and accuracy of RF power amplifier design. The internship role will involve troubleshooting software issues, verifying design data, documenting best practices, writing scripts, and authoring automation programs.

Job Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a BA/BS program studying Computer Science, Mathematics, or Computer/Software Engineering (we will not consider MS/PhD students - please do not apply)
• Must be returning to school after the summer - we will not consider students who are graduating before December 2019
• Completed at least one computer programming course
• Extensive knowledge of Windows 10
• Some knowledge of Unix environment
• Knowledgeable in MS Office products, VBA experience is a plus
• Programming experience (Perl or C++ for example)
• HTML or other web programming experience
• Excellent communication, organization and documentation skills

  Potential to extend into a part-time internship for fall 2019, so preference is for students local to the Newbury Park, CA office.
