JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the supervision and development of functional team project managers for technical projects includes engaging resources and coordinating the efforts of team members, third-party organizations and the client in order to deliver projects according to plan. Responsible for driving technical projects to completion by ensuring effective use of team's resources (including budget), appropriate scheduling, inter-departmental relationships and overseeing quality control throughout a project.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Duties are listed in order of greatest importance. The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.

  • Coordinate project resources that result in seamless product management or deployment within predefined project timeframes and budget

  • Develop and document standard implementation methodologies and ensure departmental compliance

  • Develop client-specific project implementation plans and establish complete familiarity with the implementation milestones, specific site requirements (contractual or otherwise), site environment, client expectations and enterprise industry information system strategy and integrated collection technology.

  • As appropriate, drive technical development of projects to ensure design meets customer/market requirements and maximizes project resources

  • Ensures that all technical decisions are cost-effective and meet requirements to ensure successful project milestones

  • Manage project timelines, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise. Ensure milestones are met in a timely manner and proactively anticipates and mitigates risk to the project.

  • Develops and manages a project communication plan to routinely communicate the project status to team members as well as internal / external stakeholders.

  • Responsible for development of functional team's talent through mentoring and training to facilitate growth development.

  • Work closely with cross-functional Project Management teams and facilitate the implementation process for customers, as appropriate, for both single and multi-site facilities.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's DegreeRequired

  • 5 yearsofproject management experience in a regulated environment, ideally medical device and or software experiencedesired

  • Previous experience managing moderately complex engineering projects within a team oriented environment

  • Ability to inspire and develop staff

  • Technical expert in assigned engineering discipline

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a managerial or leadership role required

  • PMP Certificationdesired

  • Develops and delivers effective presentations

  • Excellent collaboration and team building skills

  • Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion

  • Completion of formal project management training (e.g. Project Management Professional (PMP and the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) credentialing programs)Preferred

Pay Transparency:

The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate's location, education, job-knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles. Incentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics' employee compensation. For sales roles, employees will be eligible for sales incentive (i.e., commission) under the applicable plan terms. For non-sales roles, employees will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, the target amount of which varies based on the applicable role, to be governed by the applicable plan terms. Employees may also be eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive plan, with eligibility and target amount dependent on the role.

In addition to compensation, the Company offers a competitive suite of benefits to its employees, including without limitation, a 401(k) with up to a 6% employer match and no vesting period, an employee stock purchase plan, "flexible time off" for salaried employees and, for hourly employees, accrual of three to five weeks' vacation annually (based on tenure), accrual of up to 64 hours (annually) of paid sick time, paid and/or floating holidays, parental leave, short- and long-term disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, and/or health and welfare benefits.

The base salary range for this role is:

$98,706.00-$133,391.00/Annual
