Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior People Generalist to join our team. The Senior People Generalist will play a key role in supporting various People functions, including benefits administration, onboarding and offboarding processes, and HRIS management and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR operations, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a passion for supporting team members in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the administration of team member benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, team member leaves, and rewards & recognition programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires and departing team members, including conducting orientations, processing I-9's, and coordinating workflows with impacted cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee and manage the HRIS (ADP WorkForce Now) to ensure accurate and up-to-date team member records, scheduled and custom report generation, and other systems integrations.
  • In collaboration with the People Partner team, oversee team member changes, such as promotions, transfers, and other salary adjustments, ensuring accurate updates to payroll and HRIS/team member records.
  • Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports to identify trends, track KPI's, and develop a dashboard to share performance updates on a regular cadence.
  • Provide recruiting support when needed, including posting job requisitions, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and completing background check process
  • Collaborate with People team and cross-functional teams to develop and implement HR initiatives and programs to enhance team member engagement and retention.
  • Assist with legal administrative tasks, including electronic filing and file management.
  • Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations and ensure company policies and practices remain compliant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on benefits administration, HR process management including onboarding/offboarding, and HRIS management.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and other relevant federal and state regulations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of typical HRIS workflows, and experience with ADP WorkForce Now would be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management and reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members at all levels.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Experience in the education and/or technology industry is a plus.
