Position Summary

As the Procurement Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for helping to drive the data, technology, and analytics roadmap for the Procurement function. This position will be focused on enhancing data quality, collaborating closely with the IT function in delivering Procurement's vision, mapping out future analytics strategy, and working with members of procurement to drive value with data. You will report to the Senior Procurement Manager - Data, Analytics, & Transformation as an individual contributor that will be partnering and supporting procurement and other functions. This role will be expected to lead teams and projects that work with cross functional members to continue advancement of the Procurement technology. The responsibility of this role will continue to expand as our Data and Analytics capabilities grow.

In addition to the above, this role will support many ad-hoc initiatives and reporting needs for the Procurement Leadership team with a lot of visibility to company executive leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with procurement leadership and stakeholders to further develop and progress the Procurement Analytics Roadmap
  • Responsible for development and training of all Procurement in the use of Analytics tools, reporting and technology.
  • Collaborate with Procurement stakeholders and Central Data team to determine areas to improve data quality, efficiency, and reporting.
  • Oversee ongoing maintenance and functionality of existing reports for Procurement
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the procurement team when it comes to utilizing the different reporting tools.
  • Build and develop reports and presentations for the executive team in partnership with the Senior Manager - Data, Analytics, and Transformation
  • Develop SOPs, guidelines and standards for Procurement Data and Analytics for documented best practices.
  • Coach and provide guidance to procurement professionals on how data can be used to support different areas of the Source-to-Pay process.
  • Perform complex ad-hoc reporting in support of procurement as required.
  • Manage weekly AOP reporting and enhance the process through improvement of visuals, data points, and other leadership requests.
  • Connect and turn oftentimes ambiguous business needs into repeatable and standard reporting for the procurement, as needed.
  • Partner with manager and procurement leadership to determine where strategic and tactical skills need to be enhanced across procurement.
  • Work with manager to develop overall Compliance and KPI reporting for the procurement function.

Qualifications

Education:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply chain or other business related field.
  • Analytics or Data certifications from other accrediting bodies will be considered.
  • CSCP certification, CPSM certification, or similar is preferred but not required

Experience:

  • 5 - 8 years of experience in a combination of the following: category management, procurement technology, project implementation and/or analytics
  • 3 - 5 years of experience within a Global Procurement or Supply Chain Organization
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a manufacturing organization
  • Experience with supply chain processes, such as inventory management, planning, procurement, supplier relationship management, and item/supplier master data management
  • The candidate should have a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Subject matter expert of systems and processes within procurement including strong project management and initiative management capability
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Experience in PowerBI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, specifically Excel
  • Familiarity with Coupa and ERP systems (SAP, Epicor, etc.)
  • Experience with work management tools such as Asana, Sunday, etc.
  • Basic understanding of data strategy and architecture
