We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team. Supporting our Minnesota office, the ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, writing, and organizational skills. This will be a hybrid role with requirements of 3 days a week in the Minneapolis office.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:

The position will be responsible for providing support for the Minnesota marketing team and other firm-wide industry marketing initiatives. On a daily basis, this role will involve (but is not limited to):

  • Support for marketing team initiatives and projects (e.g. proposal development, communications materials, social media activation, writing projects, etc.)

  • General marketing and office duties including printing, maintaining office inventory of marketing materials,event support, and other marketing department organization.

  • Proofreading marketing documents for spelling, grammar, and layout, recommending or making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final documents.

  • Working independently and within a team on special non-recurring and ongoing projects

  • Acting as project manager for special projects which may include planning and coordinating presentations and disseminating information.

  • Assists with tracking, coordination, and implementation of hosted and sponsored events, including booth set up and breakdown.

  • Assisting with maintenance and distribution of marketing giveaways inventory.

  • Maintaining CRM campaigns for marketing industry leads (tracking ROI and touchpoints for events and campaigns).

  • Assisting with creation of social media postings that will enhance the brand on social media.

  • Assisting with industry research and/or list research.

  • Working with industry marketing managers/leaders and stakeholders on the execution of growth initiatives. (i.e. Financial Services, Private Equity, Real Estate, etc.)

  • Routing and coding of marketing invoices for local vendors and initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • One to two years of marketing or related office experience.

  • Experience working in a corporate environment.

  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in marketing, communications, business administration or related field required.

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:

  • Must be extremely detailed oriented with organizational skills.

  • Demonstrable ability to adhere to deadlines.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

  • Extensive experience with MS Office. Advanced Excel skills is a plus. Other marketing computer software and online applications a plus (CRM and research tools, social media, etc.)

  • Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to learn other tech platforms and research database tools.

  • Knowledge of marketing principles a plus.

  • Knowledge of accounting, tax or other professional services is a plus.
