People Incorporated Mental Health Services is expanding our School-Linked Service program in multiple Districts! Our School Linked Services program provides on-site mental health services to students, some who would otherwise not be able to access these services in the community. Services may include individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, teacher consultation, staff development and diagnostic assessments.

We are expanding programs in the following districts:

• Anoka Hennepin School District
• Intermediate School District 287 (FILLED)
• Robbinsdale School District
• Osseo School District

Typical schedules for school-linked positions match school hours of operation, assuming a full-time schedule. All schools begin and end their days between 7:30am - 5:00pm. Actual hours may vary depending upon the needs of families for family therapy.

The Mental Health Therapist II will provide mental health therapy services and will:

• Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients, parents and other family members
• Assess the needs of clients
• Develop and implement treatment plans and regularly evaluate effectiveness of these plans
• Conduct individual therapy with clients including, as needed, family and group therapies
• Collaborate with school staff regarding referrals and scheduling

Required qualifications:

• Current and valid licensure as LICSW, LMFT, LP or LPCC
• Master's degree in behavior sciences
• Previous experience with children, adolescents and families in a therapeutic arena

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience collaborating with school systems and school personnel
• Proven success collaborating on interdisciplinary teams
