We are looking for a person who is a self-starter and able to work independently and with minimal supervision and can support the Store Manager and Operations Management staff at all times. Mathematical bookwork is required at least 3 times a week. Excellent communication, customer service and problem solving skills are also required. We are looking for an individual with a retail management experience, solid work ethic, flexibility in working hours, and a great attitude.
Guest Service Supports Store Manager in the training of store personnel, implementation of store guest service initiatives, and the follow-up on store employee performance. Must be available for emergency call response when covering for store Manager. Assures that store appearance and cleanliness is maintained according to company standards and expectations at all times.
Security and Controls Responsible for assuring that all paperwork and book work/reporting is done accurately and in a timely manner when covering for the Store Manager. Assures that all cash and media is secured with deposit ready to go to the bank in a timely manner, maintaining accurate information for follow-up on all discrepancies, and that store staff is consistently utilizing company policies and control “mixes” to properly control assets. Able to do payroll when required. Encourages safe work habits and a safe environment for all.
Repairs and Maintenance Become knowledgeable on all store equipment so that accurate decisions can be made concerning operation and maintenance. Able to perform light repairs and/or maintaining of equipment. Supports Store Manager in proper follow-up on all Repair and Maintenance Billing to control all costs. Available as required for emergency call response from employees concerning equipment.
Implementation Supports Store Manager in all price change maintenance and reporting done in an accurate and timely fashion. Supports Manager in timely implementation of Sales and Marketing promotions and programs and implementation of proper signage throughout the store. Supports and is involved with all corporate training functions.
Training and Human Resource Functions Supports Store Manager in utilization of proper hiring procedures as outlined by corporate policy; orientation of part time and full time employees; provides accurate and detailed training of all store staff. Supports Manager in utilizing accurate discipline and termination procedures. Schedules and time off reporting of employees in an accurate and timely fashion. Encourages and utilizes motivational techniques that create a positive attitude and environment with in the store.
