Job Description

Implementation Manager – St. Paul, Minnesota

Position description
StayWell Health Management is looking for a Implementation Manager to join our St. Paul, Minnesota-based team.

The Implementation Manager is primarily responsible for maintaining and augmenting existing business by orchestrating internal resources in accordance with project specifications and timelines. They also are responsible for building lasting client relationships and managing client expectations by orchestrating all aspects of program development from initiation through completion and reconciliation.

Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of client implementations processes, project management, is an independent self-starter, and a critical thinker. Candidates should be able to prioritize and meet demanding deadlines, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have experience leading other team members in a matrixed project environment.  

Primary responsibilities
  • Maintain relationships and communications with client team, sales, account management team, and other internal team members throughout the duration of implementation.
  • Responsible for gathering all business requirements and managing client changes in order to successfully launch a new client or an existing client.  Ensure that all other departments involved in the implementation are able to complete their set ups on time with acceptable levels of quality.
  • Lead or participate in internal meetings, client meetings or cross-functional meetings.  Responsible for completing project plans, detailed meeting notes documentation, action item management, and any other meeting deliverables.
  • Responsible for driving to outcomes.  Assist in guiding clients to making timely decisions for their program in order for it to be successful.
  • Provide weekly, detailed project status to internal team members and client.  Highlight issues, scope of services changes, and progress that has been made.
  • Creates and manages project schedules. Executes and delivers purchased product/data to clients in the required formats by the deadlines established in those schedules.
  • Records and documents all activity in contact management database. Maintain the appropriate documents in order to track project development and any changing specifications.
  • Responsible for demoing client website and training client to use their website
  • Successfully transition the client post implementation to the Account Management team and servicing team.
  • Ability to utilize effective management, negotiation, and influencing skills both internally and externally to ensure a successful implementation of all products and services within scope.
  • Ultimate accountability for a successful and timely client launch.
  • Uses the time reporting system; signing and reporting all exception time on a weekly basis.
  • Complete other administrative tasks, such as travel and expense reporting or similar, in a timely manner.
  • Performs responsibilities in a professional manner, meeting the Company’s mission and goals.
 
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four (4) year college or university and more than five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong business knowledge, particularly in the areas of implementations and project management; healthcare market knowledge is beneficial.  Must be able to multi-task and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Must possess solid communication skills, people management skills, and project methodology skills. Must be able to assign work, meet deadlines, and interpret and ensure consistent application of organizational policies.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of CRM software; Database software such as Oracle; Presentation software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
