Prewire Specialists, Inc., a low-voltage wiring company, was founded in 1998 by Jim Haugdahl. At that time, Jim had been working in the cable industry for about 10 years and decided to take his experience and knowledge to start something of his own. The company enjoyed early success and experienced remarkable growth. In 2004 Jim’s brother, Steve Haugdahl, joined the organization and brought with him years of management expertise. Today, the Haugdahl brothers share equal ownership of Prewire Specialists, Inc., Jim serves as President and Steve as CFO. The company has a fleet of 123 vehicles and 125 employees in multiple departments and support positions that form the crucial component of the company’s success.
